BTD II: Texas A & M University

Texas A&M University opened in 1876, as the first public institution of higher education in Texas. It is a rare Land, Sea and Space-Grant institution reflecting a broad scope of research endeavors, and an enrollment of approximately 44,000 students, with Master's and Doctoral degrees in approximately 125 fields of study.
The Dwight Look College of Engineering, which hosts the Bridge to the Doctorate Program, offers 14 doctoral programs. The second cohort of the TAMUS LSAMP Bridge to the Doctorate (BTD II) Program is the collaboration of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (COALS), College of Science (COS), and College of Engineering (COE) at Texas A&M University.
