BTD IV Fellow Places 1st in TAMU SRW Competition

BTD IV cohort member, Jacob Torres, placed first in his session during Texas A&M University's 2007 Student Research Week (SRW). SRW encourages students to give oral or poster presentations of their research. All SRW participants receive a t-shirt. Additionally, Torres received a $125 monetary award for placing 1st in his session.

His oral presentation entitled "Risk Analysis & Uncertainty Modeling for Virtual Water Distribution Systems" also won him the honor of an Environmental Health and Safety Department Safety Recognition Award. This award is a designation recognizing research efforts that contribute to and/or value the role and importance of safety at Texas A&M University.
